About Me:

My name is Peyman Toreini. I am currently head of "Eye-based Workplace & Extended Reality" research team and postdoctoral researcher at the Human-Centered Systems Lab (h-lab), located at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany.

I received my Ph.D. from KIT under supervision of Prof. Dr. Alexander Maedche . Before, I did my M.Sc. in Media Informatics at RWTH Aachen University, Germany, and got my B.Sc. in Information Technology at Azad Univeristy of Mashhad, Iran.

Research Interests:

My research focuses on the intersection between Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Information Systems (IS). I study designing and developing the next generation of user interfaces. In particular, I am interested in the novel user experiences that are enabled by human eyes on desktop stations and smart glasses (AR/MR).
